See What the UK UFO Database Looks Like Before You Join
Wondering what you actually get access to as a member? Here’s a look inside the UK UFO Database, how it works, and the tools you can use to explore reported UFO sightings from across the UK.
A Searchable Database of UK UFO Sightings
The UK UFO Database has been built to make it much easier to explore reported UFO sightings in one place.
Rather than scrolling through endless lists or trying to piece together reports from different sources, members can search, filter and explore cases using a purpose-built database.
Browse the Full Case Archive
The sightings archive lets you browse individual case files from across the database.
You can refine the results by location, object shape, country and date, or use the search box to look for specific towns, counties, case numbers or report details.
Explore Sightings on the Interactive Map
Prefer exploring visually? The interactive sightings map lets you browse reports geographically.
Each marker represents a sighting in the database. Click a marker to see the case details and open the full report.
You can also filter the map without leaving the page. Non-members can browse the map and see what has been seen around the country, however for access to the full case file info you need to be a member.
Find UFO Sightings Near You
One of the quickest ways to explore the database is by entering a UK postcode.
The map will move directly to that area, allowing you to investigate reported sightings nearby and see how much UFO activity has been recorded around your location.
Open Detailed Individual Case Files
Every sighting has its own case page containing the information available for that report.
Depending on the case, this can include the reported date and time, location, object shape, duration, evidence, witness account and original source information.
Discover Nearby Sightings
Individual case pages can also show nearby reports, making it easier to investigate whether other sightings have been recorded in the surrounding area.
This is especially useful when researching clusters of activity or comparing cases from the same region.
Built for UFO Research — Not Just Browsing
The aim of the database is not simply to create a list of sightings. It is designed to make the information easier to explore, compare and investigate.
Whether you are researching a particular area, looking at patterns in reported object shapes, checking sightings from a certain period or simply exploring cases near where you live, the tools are there to help you dig deeper.
